We'reoffering an excellent opportunity for aSpecialist Physiotherapistto join our9-month Band 6 respiratory rotation, gaining experience across Critical Care, Surgery, Cardio-Thoracics, Acute Medicine, Thoracic Medicine, Renal and Cystic Fibrosis.

Main duties of the job

To work alongside members of the multidisciplinary team to deliver physiotherapy services to patients within these specialist clinical areas. This will include patients with multi-pathology and complex need and those with cognitive and behavioural problems.

They will have responsibility for managing their own patient caseload. They will participate in the on call service (overnight and weekends) where they will work independently, managing the respiratory needs of complex critically ill patients.

In addition they will provide support for the clinical supervision of physiotherapists, student physiotherapists and support staff.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
