Job summary
To provide a range of Adult Audiological services within Audiology at University Hospital of Wales and across Community sites in Cardiff and the Vale. Responsible for delivering safe and effective Audiology services, ensuring that clinical performance is in line with or exceeding best practice. This will include contribution to service development activity, audit, research and delivery of in-house continuing professional development activity and interagency work. To provide support and guidance, to more junior colleagues and trainees in performance of their clinical duties.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of this role involve assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for Adult hearing loss patients.
This post is Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months due to maternity cover.
