Clinical Nurse Specialist in Myeloma

Job summary

This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months from date of start to meet the needs of the service.

The successful candidate would work as part of a multidisciplinary Haematology team. They will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, implementing & evaluating care plans under theguidance of the team leader. They will work with the Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist in Myeloma on a Cardiff and Vale UHB wide basis, the Haematology day centre and inpatient ward Sister/charge nurse.

Main duties of the job

We are a friendly and experienced team, who strive to deliver excellent patient care. We work closely with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team and together our objective is to ensure patients and their families receive care which is tailored to meet their individual needs. Our team is fast moving and progressive and actively support nurse led activities and offers excellent opportunities for professional and personal development.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
