Clinical Pharmacist - Haematology Directorate

Job summary

The post holder will have the opportunity to provide clinical pharmacy services and medicines management to patients on our inpatient haematology and BMT/CAR-T wards and play an integral role as part of the MDT, ensuring that a sustainable, high quality pharmacy service is provided to our patients in Cardiff and Vale.

The post holder will be supported in developing their practice by our team of experienced Haematology Pharmacists and the excellent team of professionals working within the Clinical Haematology Directorate.

Main duties of the job

As a Clinical Pharmacist working in the Adult Haematology team, you will have an integral role in providing high-quality specialist pharmacy services to patients in Cardiff and Vale.

You will lead by example and will be responsible for the training and development of less experienced team members, as well as Medical and Nursing colleagues.

Your professionalism, excellent inter-personal skills and enthusiasm, will equip you to be a valued contributor to our service and to develop to be a key member of our Clinical Pharmacy team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
