Job summary
The post holder will also be responsible for the day to day management of the Mental Health research portfolio, managing recruitment of research participants into studies, set-up and closure of studies, data management and reporting metrics in line with key performance indicators for research in Wales. The post holder will have research or extensive clinical experience and possess excellent clinical skills.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to work closely with directorate colleagues in order to deliver a quality research service, enhancing the patient experience and providing reputational excellence for Cardiff and Vale Research Delivery teams.

- The purpose of this post is to increase the number of patients participating in clinical trials at Cardiff and Vale UHB.
- The post will contribute to the assessment and management of the care pathways for patients and carers participating in clinical trials. This will include the recruitment, education, monitoring of trial patients, the collection and documentation of accurate data.
