Job summary
Weqas is one of the largest External Quality Assessment (EQA) providers in the United Kingdom with over 600 clients providing services to both laboratory and POCT diagnostic services.
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to work within this fast paced environment.
The duties performed by the MLA team support the scientific teams across all areas of the Weqas organisation.
Main duties of the job
The main duties include:
- Dispensing, labelling and dispatch of EQA / IQC / QCRM material.
- Separation of blood products and preparation of samples for further testing.
- Check and maintain stock levels of consumables.
- General office duties including the data entry of results, packing mail items, filing and scanning.
Certain tasks require the use of aseptic techniques and therefore maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of apparatus and work area is required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
