Job summary
Are you keen and enthusiastic, can you be relied upon to support clinical staff working in a front line patient environment? - Then you may be who we are looking for to fill a full time vacancy arising in our Logistics Team.
A cheerful disposition and good interpersonal skills are essential as direct contact with clients, customers and suppliers is expected. You should have a good basic education to NVQ level 3, with some computer skills and hold a full driving licence. Current technical knowledge is not essential, but you must be willing and have the aptitude to undertake any necessary training provided.
Main duties of the job
o Carrying out a range of routine and some non-routine technical work involving the commissioning, repair and servicing of medical equipment.o Transporting medical equipment between the Clinical Engineering base and user locations.o Participating in a maintenance programme for community equipment and liaising with patients in their homes.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
