Job summary
The Diabetes Specialist Nurse Service supports people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes living in Cardiff and the Vale, in acute, out patient and community settings.
The Diabetes Centre Administrator role is essential to the effective running of this service and is pivotal in managing and booking appointments, coordinating the insulin pump service and providing effective communication.
We are looking for somebody with excellent organisational skills, administrative experience and a positive attitude to join our team.
Main duties of the job
To provide a full range of clerical, administrative and secretarial services to the Diabetes Specialist Nursing Team and Cardiff and Vale Insulin Pump Service in support of the effective delivery of services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
