Job summary

CAVOC is a busy elective orthopaedic ward, with an exciting new opening of an additional unit - the Enhanced Recovery Unit (ERU); which provides level 1 enhanced care to orthopaedic, trauma and breast patients.

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, motivated nurse to become a Deputy Sister/Charge nurse, that will provide hands on care and ensure the smooth running of the ward, whilst being a positive change agent.

Main duties of the job

This is an opportunity to work within a motivated multidisciplinary team at the forefront of excellence in enhanced care within the Trauma and Orthopaedic directorate.

We are seeking an experienced nurse who can demonstrate the essential criteria, and who has experience of leading a team.

It is essential that the successful candidate is able to inspire and motivate others.
