Job summary
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within our friendly, well-established Hand Therapy service, which is based across 3 sites (University Hospital Llandough, University Hospital of Wales and Cardiff Royal Infirmary). The successful applicants will work alongside the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists within the hand therapy team within out-patient clinic setting.
Appropriate training and induction will be provided within the department. Staff of all grades are encouraged to engage in continuous professional development.

Main duties of the job
The role enables meaningful patient centred engagement in occupations, supporting the Hand Therapists in their assessment and intervention. The interventions are carried out on an individual basis within outpatient clinics.
The work involves the collection of patient data, as well as other administrative and organisational tasks, stock keeping and electronic record keeping.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply
