Health Care Support Worker

Job summary

The Health Care Support Worker will actively participate as a member of the ward team and will be responsible for contributing towards the smooth and efficient running of the ward.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring beds and bed areas are clean and contribute to keeping the ward clean and tidy. The post holder will assist with maintaining ward stocks, keeping storerooms organised and tidy, keep clinical equipment clean and undertake other duties, including some aspects of clinical care as delegated by qualified staff.

Full training will be provided.

This is a busy but exciting and friendly directorate, we need you to be motivated, enthusiastic, a team player whilst ensuring you take a personal responsibility: you would be expected to promote the core values of the organisation which is to demonstrate trust and respect to all, to treat people with kindness whilst always acting with integrity and taking responsibility for all actions taken.
