Job summary
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, experienced paediatric nurse to join the specialist children's cardiac service. The post holder will be working closely with the paediatric cardiology team across the service.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential to this role. You will need to demonstrate a practical, forward thinking approach to service development and evaluation and the ability to work well within a team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of children and young people with cardiac conditions through to transition to adult services. The post holder will work with the child and family, and wider multi-agency team.
Routine responsibilities include the support of Cardiac patients across the community service. To act as a point of contact for families, multidisciplinary team, other hospitals and other agencies in the community for specialist advice and information.
