Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our busy Patient Flow and Site Services team. The post holder will work closely with the Site team to support the flow through the emergency stream in expediting the safe transfer of patients from the Emergency Unit to Assessment Unit, ward areas and radiology.
Main duties of the job
The role will require you to work in an already established team within Patient flow and Site Services, supporting the safe transfer of patients in a safe and timely manner. Good team working skills and behaviour are pivotal, as is a focus to providing high quality care to patients. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will be required to communicate with the wider team, patients and relatives, providing reassurance and demonstrating a kind and sympathetic manner. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
