Job summary
To support the Patient Catering management Team and to assist in developing a high peforming team of staff who work to a high standard of customer service at all times. Supporting in the day-to-day operational management of all patient catering services at primarily the University Hospital of Llandough site together with other catering services as required e.g. food production. The post holder should be able to work on both a proactive and reactive basis to meet the needs and requirements of service delivery.
The post holder will provide line management support and responsibility to a designated group of senior and supervisory staff, managing services in adherence to quality standards, processes and legislative drivers, proactively managing resources within financial constraints including maximising all income opportunities.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the day to day management, planning and co-ordination of the catering production service and delivery to all customers including the supervision of workforce together with providing guidance and advice to a wide variety of customers and colleagues.
To receive, file, collate and report on service delivery via Key Performance Indicator information ensuring the maintenance and completion of performance monitoring systems.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
