Administration and Resources Officer 1 x 1.0 WTE & 1 x 0.8 WTE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 x Administration & Resource Officers to join the Cardiff and Vale Public Health Team. We welcome applications from enthusiastic, committed individuals who are dedicated team players with demonstrable skills and experience to enable them to undertake this role.
The post holder will be a core member of the busy administration team with experience of delivering comprehensive, effective, timely and efficient administrative support to a high standard. Working within policies and procedures, the post holder will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, manage their own workload and operate on their own initiative, seeking advice if required.
The post holder will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook). Social media and website management skills would be desirable.

Main duties of the job
The Administration and Resources Officer will provide a comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Cardiff and Vale Local Public Health Team. This is a key supporting role in the effective running of the team.
Arrange and provide administrative support to meetings; recording accurate
notes, typing up of minutes and distribution of papers.
Arrange and provide support to team meetings, events, workshops and
training sessions.
Support the financial functions of the Local Public Health Team assisting
with the processing of purchase orders and invoices by use of the Oracle
procurement system in line with Cardiff and Vale UHB financial procedures.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
