Job summary
This post is fixed term for 15 months to meet the needs of the service.
Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board (RPB) is made up of the local health board, local authorities and the third sector.
Our staff team support the RPB by bringing together the right people to:
- think about what we need in the future and how we're going to make that happen.
- make sure our plans make sense and that we make them happen at the right time and in the right way.
Our Administrative Apprentice will work closely with our Administrative Support Officer, our Director and project and programme managers to
- keep us aware of deadlines
- set up meetings
- prepare for workshops
- manage the team inbox
- collate information
Our previous apprentices have gone on to secure permanent roles as either project or service administrators. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with other people, in a fast, but organised way and is keen to learn the necessary skills and pursue a career in the NHS administration function.
Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient and effective clerical and administration support service to a designated team in accordance with Health Boards policies and procedures.
To attend regular review meetings with the supervisor and assessor, leading to an Apprenticeship Qualification in Digital Skills for Business Level 2.
This qualification consists of:
o Foundation apprenticeship in Digital Skills for Businesso Level 2 Diploma in Digital Skills for Businesso Level 1 Essential Skills in Communication, Numeracy and Digital Literacy. Employment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook
Please note if you are already degree qualified you will be ineligible to apply due to Welsh Government funding criteria on the level 2 qualification.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
