Job summary
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Team Leader in Immunology & Allergy manages a small team of nurses and support staff who work to provide excellent care to a national cohort of patients with immunodeficiency, and a regional cohort with serious and complex allergy. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the team, specialist advice across disciplines, specialities, and sites, and act as a role model for the delivery of expert care.
The postholder will be working in a close-knit team of consultants, nurses, and support staff, as well as research, laboratory, and administration staff. They will report to the Senior Nurse. The Immunology team is well-respected nationally and internationally, and the postholder will help maintain this reputation through promoting quality research, disseminating good practice, and representing the team at relevant meetings and conferences.

Essential requirements are a broad clinical knowledge base and extensive specialist knowledge in immunology and allergy.
