The Business Change Analyst will be responsible for supporting and carrying out change activities in support of local initiation work in line with the Together for Mental Health Delivery Plan .

The role involves delivering specific analytical work across the Community Addictions Unit to understand the current business processes, develop new business processes to meet the requirements, and evaluate benefits identified for each project. The Business Change Analyst is expected to contribute to the implementation of these changes to workflow management.

  • Knowledge / experience within Mental Health and Addiction Services (desirable)
  • Working within projects and alongside project/programme managers
  • Data processing, mapping and interpreting
  • Organisational efficiency identification and improvements
  • Pathway mapping and development
  • Cost/business improvements

Main duties of the job

Projects

  • Project Administration including documentation management and updating
  • Project Management Software experience
  • Risk and Issue identification and management
  • Stakeholder relationship development, co-ordinating frequent points of communications with stakeholders.
  • Chase actions from key project meetings.
  • Strategic project management support working closely with the project manager.
  • Carry out frequent and regular assessments of the project delivery and provide suggestions for streamlining where applicable. This should also include your independent identification of any risks and issues you feel need to be reviewed during project delivery.
Data and Business Analytical requirements
  • Knowledge/experience using Paris database and/or other NHS databases.
  • Auditing and interpreting multiple data streams.
  • Service pathway development.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in managing, processing, auditing and interpreting large sums of data. Providing clear pathways for development and organisational efficiencies.
  • Work closely with PM and Comms Officer to enhance communication plans.
  • Implementation of business processes
  • Risk & Issue management and identification
  • Proficient in composing professional analysis documents with clear recommendations for development
  • Able to deliver presentations to a professional standard.
  • Able to provide mentoring to those within the team who are not IT literate.
  • Dashboard and system development
