Job summary
The Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) Clinic in Hafan y Coed are looking for a registered mental health nurse to join our team on a part-time basis.
We are a modern, purpose-built clinic in University Hospital Llandough that provides ECT to patients experiencing mental health issues within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
We are looking for someone who is able to provide care to our patients on a set shift pattern of 3 days a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am - 1:30pm.
You will be working in a friendly multi-disciplinary team that puts the patient at the centre of everything we do. We will provide a full induction and training programme as part of the recruitment process.

Main duties of the job
The ECT Clinic has 1x part-time vacancy of 16.5 hours for a registered mental health nurse on a set shift pattern.
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join us in ECT Clinic who wish to work with patients requiring treatment with us. The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals to ensure that the clinical, environmental and social needs of patients receiving ECT are met.
The main duties of the role include providing safe and effective care to patients receiving ECT, assisting with the day-to-day organisation of the clinic, and participating in key training and educational activities to ensure knowledge and skills remain up-to-date.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
