Job summary

Ward B6 is a busy surgical ward and is currently looking for a highly motivated receptionist to provide a first class patient focused service. You will be the first point of contact on the ward and will demonstrate effective team work and organisational skills as well as always being professional and have a friendly approach to patients, visitors and colleagues.

Main duties of the job

This role includes, answering the telephone, greeting visitors, dealing with patients face to face, data entry, filing patient records, ordering and other administrative duties. You must have effective communications skills and good IT skills and a friendly welcoming approach.

If you have proven organisational and excellent communication skills, work hard under pressure and as part of a team then we would like to hear from you.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
