Job summary
We are looking for well-motivated, enthusiastic administrator to join the laboratory team. The post is full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
The post holder will be based at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW) and will work closely with the office and laboratory teams based at both the UHW and University Hospital Llandough (UHL) sites
The primary role is to support the laboratory with stock control and inventroy management to include but not exclusively:
- Ordering
- Inventory stock check,
- Receipt and distribution of orders within the department
- Assisting with putting orders away
The post holder will also provide some clerical support to the laboratory senior staff.
Main duties of the job
To assist with the management of laboratory consumables at the UHW site
To provide personal and operational administrative support to the Senior Laboratory staff across all sites.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
