Job summary
Nursery Practitioner -The Teddy Bear Nursery - University Hospital of Wales.
6 months Fixed Term Contract - cover occupancy levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- To act as a key worker to named children, carrying out observations/developmental reports for each child and liaising with parents regularly.
- Working in partnership with the team and with the parents act as a positive and professional role model to colleagues and children.
Main duties of the job
To be considered for the role you will be:
- You will need to have a minimum Childcare Day Care Level 3 qualification and experience of a Nursery Practitioner role in a busy nursery environment covering the age range 3 months - 5 years, together with excellent knowledge of the child development and current practices.
- This role will involve working varying shifts between the hours of Monday and Friday from 7.00am 6:00pm so flexibility is required.
