Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Supervisor within the Artificial Limb and Appliance Service (ALAS). This role is a full time post and will cover all ALAS administration services across ALAC Rookwood Hospital and the Posture & Mobility Centre Treforest.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as an integral part of ALAS administration team and will participate in the continued development of the services, including error checking and timely submission of all departmental reports to ensure the services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. They will organise and supervise the reception and administration functions across both sites.
The successful candidate will have previous administration and customer service experience with good communication and organisational skills. The ability to deal calmly and effectively with members of the public and colleagues over the phone and face to face.
Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft office and flexible in their approach to work and the changing needs of the service.
Supervisory experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Ability to travel between ALAS sites (ALAC, Rookwood Hospital and the PMC, Treforest) in a timely manner.
The ability to speak welsh is desirable for this role, Welsh/English speakers are equally welcome to apply
