Job summary
A vacancy has arisen for a Dental Core Training Year 2 post based within the University Dental Hospital
This fixed term post will commence on 6th September 2023 until 3rd September 2024.
Main duties of the job
This post provides the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of Oral Medicine and also Oral Surgery and Acute Dental Care (Dental Emergency) Clinics

- BDS or Equivalent
- Current GDC certificate or eligible for registration with the GDC at intended start date

- Portfolio containing evidence of progression and development of clinical skills and professional development
- Working towards postgraduate qualification or already obtained postgraduate qualifications (MFDS, MJDF or equivalent)
Experience
Essential
- Completion of UK Dental Core Training Year 1 programme or equivalent by the time post commences
- 24 months whole time equivalent postgraduate clinical experience to the full scope of a dentist by the time post commences
- Evidence of teaching experience
- Must not have spent more than 6 months whole time equivalent in a UK Dental Core Training Year 2 programme by time post commences
