Job summary
To maintain professional standards within the clinical areas utilising the competency framework to practice in line with NMC codes of conducts and other statutory and organisational standards.
To manage a group of patients to deliver nursing care that is patient focused and reflect the philosophy of the UHB.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Nurses to join our team in delivering essential and specialist cardiac nursing care to our patients. We are currently a 37 bedded acute cardiology ward whofacilitates the tertiary ACS/ Complex transfer service. The ward alsodelivers care to patients with a number of cardiac conditions andsupports patients throughout South East Wales that require secondary and tertiary cardiology services.
The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and will work well within a team. The ability to work in an acute setting is highly desirable, although support will be given.
