Job summary
This registered nurse role is responsible for ensuring and maintaining professional standards within the clinical area utilising the competency framework to practice in line with NMC codes of conducts and other statutory and organisational standards. To work together as an inter-professional team to provide a unique service within invasive Cardiology.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic nurse to join the nursing team caring for patients within invasive cardiology. This busy unit performs both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and a 24 hour on call service for cardiac emergencies. In addition a developing nurse led Cardiac day Case Unit operates alongside the theatres to provide care for the cardiac day case patient.We are searching for nurses who share our values that:

The applicant will complete a period of training rotating within the Unit, working closely with members of the inter-professional team and will be expected to work as part of the on-call rota once trained. A self roistering system is used on the unit to enable flexible working.
