Are you a dynamic and experienced People Manager with a passion for supporting people to be their best? If so, the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) has an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a DDaT People Manager to join our Digital, Data and Technology Directorate, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our people to deliver products and services that meet the needs of our users.
Whilst leading and managing a multidisciplinary team in a matrix management model you will demonstrate a range of leadership skills in managing, developing and supporting people and processes. You will focus on pastoral care and resolve complex people issues whilst proactively engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders to successfully deliver and maintain a supportive team environment.
You will work with the Professional leads and Delivery Managers to ensure that staff from different professional disciplines to your own have the peer support from their community of practice as well as within their line management team.

Main duties of the job
You will be an active member of the DDaT People Team, with occasional travel to other locations. Working under general direction and within a clear framework of accountability you will work autonomously to best support and develop those within your team.Demonstrating excellent communication and relationship building skills across the different strands of our Delivery, People and Profession matrix, you will focus on the people aspect of the team's performance--driving staff development, talent management, and career progression. You will lead on key people processes such as recruitment, regular one-to-ones, and performance reviews, while maintaining a strong focus on colleague wellbeing.Engaging with stakeholders, you will facilitate and foster collaborative approaches, prioritise requirements and maximise resource utilisation. By demonstrating a creative and innovative approach and advising on several policies and procedures, you will optimise standards and solutions to deliver on NHSBSA's strategic goals.
