NICE – The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence

Resourcing Adviser

The closing date is 08 March 2026

Job summary

Are you a resourcing adviser who's passionate about creating a positive, fair and human recruitment experience? This 12-month secondment or fixed-term role at NICE is a rare chance to stretch your skills, try something new and make a real impact.

As a Resourcing Advisor, you'll work with hiring managers to design and deliver inclusive recruitment campaigns that attract great talent. You'll shape adverts, plan campaigns and guide colleagues through each stage, ensuring candidates feel valued and supported. You'll also help colleagues with internal mobility and redeployment, offering clear, confident next steps.

You'll build strong relationships across NICE and use data to improve how we attract and hire people who reflect the communities we serve. You'll help ensure recruitment is fair and aligned with NHS standards, while keeping the warmth and personality that make a great candidate experience.

If you enjoy providing a supportive, well-organised service, being a trusted source of advice and bringing fresh ideas to improve how things are done, you'll fit right in. Join us and help shape a modern, candidate-centred resourcing function that's curious, collaborative and always improving.

As part of our commitment to colleagues at risk of redundancy, all redeployment applications are reviewed before external ones.

Main duties of the job

You'll work as a friendly, expert partner that hiring managers rely on throughout their recruitment journey. Your work will include shaping adverts, advising on the best selection methods, coordinate campaigns and ensuring that every step is smooth and fair. You'll support managers to make confident, inclusive decisions.

You'll also use data to spot trends, recommend improvements, and ensure our recruitment approach is both effective and people-centred. You'll also support and run training sessions to help managers feel more confident in their recruitment campaigns.

This is a varied, people-centred role where no two days are the same. Whether you're answering candidate queries, coaching a manager through a tricky process, or working with the team on system improvements - you'll play a key part in creating a warm, professional and positive recruitment experience for everyone!

About us

The People team sits at the heart of our organisation's culture. We're passionate about empowering people and leaders to thrive. Together, we create the conditions for an inclusive, high-performing and future-focused workforce.
