Project Manager - Content & Product Transformation

Job summary

NICE is undergoing a significant content and product transformation to ensure that we are able to provide a more usable product offering that makes it easier for health and care practitioners, commissioners and providers to make decisions and carry out their roles.The Project Manager for Content & Product Transformation will play a key role in supporting delivery of NICE's Usable strategy, supporting the Head of Content and Head of Product with their transformation responsibilities and ensuring the delivery of joint transformation initiatives.

The project manager across these teams will be responsible for:

  • Leading the management of high-profile initiatives across the directorate in collaboration with Senior Responsible Officers (SRO)
  • Providing leadership, supporting administrative staff to work with, monitor and support transformation work across the directorate.
  • Supporting the introduction and use of common approaches and techniques for agile project management in the directorate.

Main duties of the job

  • Schedule, organise and maintain reporting systems and timelines for priority initiatives and projects
  • Assist leaders in developing and maintaining a single roadmap of content and product transformation work across the directorate
  • Develop and manage systems for recording activities and tracking progress against initiatives using agile methods where possible
  • Ensure consistency across initiatives and take the lead on supporting wider directorate objectives where appropriate
  • Contribute to the medium- and long-term planning of the work of the Impact and Partnerships directorate
  • Ensure roadmap milestones are communicated and implemented
  • Assess and report any risks associated with ongoing work
  • Liaise with internal staff to negotiate timely planning and delivery of work
  • Identify areas of working practice that can be improved, developing the new process, and communicating and implementing the changes
  • Keep up to date with latest developments, changes, standards and best practice in the field of agile project management
  • Provide effective liaison between NICE teams in relation to prioritising, resourcing and scheduling transformation work
  • Represent the Impact and Partnerships directorate at meetingsSupport for the development of agile culture and skills across the directorate.
