Job summary
As a coordinator within the Health Economics and Decision Modelling team (HEDM), you will play a key role in the efficient and effective organisation of the team's work programme to enable efficient co-ordination of projects and support members of the team in business planning, contract management and the collation of business intelligence. You will work closely with colleagues both within the team and across NICE to plan, coordinate and monitor the progress of individual products and projects, ensuring consistency across the work programme. You will also coordinate and support a variety of activities relating to methods projects, HEDM working groups, contract support and management, and provide general support for a range of internal and external meetings.
This role can be based in either our Manchester (M1 3BN) or London (E20 1JQ) office.

Main duties of the job
The coordinator will take responsibility for detailed minutes of technical and often complex discussions. They will also be responsible for diary management of senior team members and act as a key point of contact between senior staff, other staff at NICE and external stakeholders.
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and working practices across the Health Economics and Decision Modelling (HEDM) team
- Acting as a contact point for internal teams and external organisations on matters relating to HEDM team programmes
- Developing and maintaining databases, dashboards, spreadsheets and other records systems
- Providing efficient and effective administrative support
- Contributing to project planning and co-ordination
- Arranging for the appropriate authorisation and purchase of items requested by team members
- Co-ordinating and servicing large externally facing meetings and other events (both virtually and face-to-face), including booking rooms and facilities, preparing agendas and papers, minute taking, liaising with stakeholders about their contributions to meetings and ensuring timely distribution of papers
- Managing the arrangements for recruiting external stakeholders to contribute to the programme
- Identifying ways in which the HEDM team pages on NICE Space can be improved and liaising with appropriate staff about changes to be made to the website.
