Job summary

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is the independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance and advice on promoting high quality health, public health and social care.

We improve outcomes for people using the NHS and other public health and social care services by:

  • producing evidence-based guidance and advice for health, public health and social care practitioners;
  • developing quality standards and performance metrics for those providing and commissioning health, public health and social care services and
  • providing a range of information services for commissioners, practitioners and managers across the spectrum of health and social care.

The Administrator will be responsible for administrating, managing and supporting all phases of the Healthtech programmes in line with the published processes. The administrator will have a portfolio of projects that they take administrative lead for, including support for public committee meetings. They will work in an operational team alongside Programme and Project Managers, Coordinators and Administrators on projects and centre-wide activity areas such as process development.

Main duties of the job

  • Support Guidance producing teams with administrative tasks.
  • Support committee operations team in delivering committees on time.
  • Manage requisitions and payments for all committee invoices.
