Main duties of the job
- Develop and manage systems for projects, recording activities and tracking progress.
- Ensure consistency across the work programmes and take the lead on projects, supporting wider project management professional team objectives where appropriate.
- Contribute to the medium- and long-term planning of the work of the project management professional team.
- Ensure deadlines are communicated and successfully met.
- Assess and report any risks associated with the effective running of projects.
- Be a main point of contact for NICE teams, and liaising to ensure appropriate input from the project management professional team in the CQI Improving Timeliness project.
- Liaise with internal staff to negotiate timely planning and delivery of work.
- Identify areas of working practice that can be improved, developing the new process, and communicating and implementing the changes.
