Main duties of the job

User Researchers are key figures in improving NICE's content and digital presence, gaining a sound understanding of user needs and behaviours to inform decisions.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to deliver high level user research programmes and projects that will support NICE's strategic objectives. Where required, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on delivering the product strategy and implementing content transformation alongside content designers, UX designers, developers, and subject matter experts.

You will be required to:

  • Support the implementation of the useable strategy
  • Plan, design and conduct user research projects in their entirety, covering both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. This will include work such as usability testing design prototypes or conducting a discovery to get a deeper understanding of the needs of our users.
  • Use a variety of research tools for data capture, testing and analysis including understanding how users interact with the live website (including Excel, SNAP, Hotjar)
  • Work and collaborate with other disciplines such as data analytics to use additional datasets to supplement research data
  • Advocate user research principles and best practice within NICE
  • Consistently promote the voice of the users and ensure they are central to decisions
