Job summary
Reporting to a content adviser, you will work with teams across NICE, and expert groups outside NICE, to make sure that our guidance is easy to understand and right for our users. You will attend committee meetings and work with technical teams to produce content that is accurate and consistent with NICE style.
You will focus on our users' needs and how published guidance is presented on the NICE website. You will be a champion for plain English and accessibility, and be responsible for a consistent tone across NICE's content.
Interview date: Friday 1st November
There will also be a test sent to candidates who are moved to interview stage, the deadline for this will be communicated closer to the time.
Main duties of the job
Senior guidance content designers use content design principles to create NICE's national guidance, making sure it is high quality, easy to understand and right for our users. You will work with colleagues to understand the needs of our different users. You will also work collaboratively with topic experts to write and edit content that meets users' needs, and is clear, concise and easy to find. You will make sure that the editorial contribution is efficient, adds value and is adaptable to changing ways of working.
