The Senior Implementation Manager is responsible for the oversight and delivery of national implementation work programme, as part of the Implementation and Insight programme. The post holder will provide senior support to the Associate Director in delivering NICE's single approach to implementation.
Main duties of the job
The senior implementation manager will:
- Work seamlessly with the Implementation & Insight leadership team to promote the value and use of NICE products in the system, deliver a single plan and embed an implementation strategy for NICE which will deliver the ambitions of the NICE strategic plan.
- Provide line management and leadership for the National Implementation team
- Take the strategic lead in the development and delivery of implementation support across a range of topic areas
- Be accountable for the delivery of the national implementation programme
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships and engagement with internal teams and key senior national stakeholders
- Engage with national, senior, health and care commissioners, practitioners and decision makers to inform and advise on the use of NICE guidance
- Manage a range of national strategic relationships on behalf of NICE
- Lead on the development of a unified implementation function (alongside system implementation and medicines optimisation), ensuring a shared purpose and effective ways of working
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify challenges and strategies to support the implementation of NICE guidance.
- Lead on the development and roll out of a range of implementation resources through engagement and collaboration with system partners, to underpin NICE's shared learning programme

The National Implementation team provides support to the systemto enable the effective use of NICE guidance. It primarily does this byworking in close partnership with key national partners across health andsocial care, internal stakeholders and other relevant agencies. The team works together to identify the barriers to implementation and develop effectivestrategies and solutions to help overcome them.
