Main duties of the job

The Technical Analyst - Evidence Generation is responsible for advising on complex process and methodological issues associated with technology appraisals and with the work of NICE's Evidence Assessment Groups. This involves providing leadership on technical issues, particularly on all aspects of data collection and analyses for guidance with managed access and evaluative commissioning, establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, NHS England, Evidence Assessment Groups and external stakeholder groups and contributing to the development of high-quality methodological practice across the Commercial and Managed Access Programme and the Appraisals Programme. About us

Managed access provides an opportunity for patients to access promising new treatments, while further data is collected to address significant clinical uncertainties. As part of the Commerical and Managed Access Programme the Managed Access Team provides essential interfaces between NICE guidance production and our partners at NHS England and other clinical registries to establish the feasibility of further data collection and to oversee the generation of new evidence. The Managed Access Team ensures that recommendations made by NICE committees concerning managed access (e.g. Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF) and Innovative Medicines Fund (IMF)) can be translated into data collection agreements and come back for review.

Here at NICE we are passionate and proud of the work we do and the impact we make.

We can offer you a great place to work with good benefits, flexible working, and a supportive, friendly, and inclusive environment.
