Job summary
Working in the Engagement and Development Team and reporting to NICE's Learning & Development Consultant, we are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Practitioner who has a real passion for learning. The Practitioner will play an active role in achieving our business plan objectives through the design, delivery and commissioning of learning and development programmes and interventions. The post holder will be passionate about promoting a strong culture of learning and development, ensuring that our colleagues have a positive experience and access to on-going development opportunities.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have specialist knowledge of learning and development topics and wide range of skills. It is expected that the post holder will apply a blended learning approach, promoting a range of opportunities to NICE staff, and developing our internal offer. This will include:
- Design and delivery of development such as induction and management development
- Facilitation of group and individual development, such as coaching and mentoring
- Co-ordinating NICE's appraisal and career conversations framework
- Developing our online Learning Hub and e-learning programmes
- Management of the NICE apprenticeship scheme
- Leading on objectives from our 5-year talent management roadmap, including career pathway programmes
- Managing the Learning & Development Administrator to ensure quality and governance of internal processes
