We are looking for registered professionals from any background to join the Digital Clinical Informatics team within the Transformation Directorate at NHS England, to work on national programmes and make a real difference across health and care.
We are recruiting for Senior Clinical Informatics Specialists to join NHS England, and roles can be offered on a full or part time basis, based in any of our core offices (Leeds, London, or Exeter), with a blend of flexible hybrid working arrangements available.
Successful candidates will be joining a team of experienced and passionate clinical informaticians, who share a desire to improve services for patients and citizens, as well as to improve the working lives of their clinical colleagues. It is likely that you will have some experience of clinical informatics, and that you are looking to take the next steps towards broadening your knowledge, skills, and experience in the specialism.
Main duties of the job
All roles within the Digital Clinical Informatics team are responsible for supporting the NHS Englands Digital Clinical Governance Framework, across the services, programmes, and projects delivered by the organisation. To meet this requirement, you will have experience of clinical governance, clinical safety, and clinical benefits, and ideally will have experience in supporting the delivery of new health and care technology.
The post holder may be required to lead or support other clinicians working across the organisation, ensuring programmes and services have access to appropriate clinical support and are successfully represented in externally facing project boards, clinical reference panels, or clinical advisory groups. There may also be the requirement to take part in an on-call rota in line with organisational policies.
