The Post

The Brent Community Learning Disability Service is a forward thinking team which is co-located within the Kingswood Centre. The service is part of the Learning Disability Service at Kingswood Centre, which has been rated Outstanding by CQC. The team works in partnership with residents, carers and Independent Providers to provide a person centred service to adults with Learning Disabilities.

The Brent Community Learning Disability Servicehave invested in significant training and professional development to help social worker practitioners develop good quality reflective practice which helps build positive relationships with the people they work with.

The Person

Were looking for experienced, passionate and motivated Deputy Team Manager who is excited by best approaches to delivering support to adults with learning disabilities to join us on our journey in one of our pioneering services. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary service to support our residents better through collaborative approaches.

We do all we can to ensure that every one of our employees has a healthy work-life balance. Our flexible working policy means we have a blended approach to where you can work across council sites or from home and we support flexible working hours. You will be provided with a laptop, mobile phone and Microsoft Teamsto facilitate agile working.
