Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Health Advisor Clinical Lead to join our Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This specialist role provides advanced clinical leadership within a predominantly nurse led-led service, supporting over 4,000 employees across the organisation.
Main duties of the job
Provide clinical leadership and expert guidance to the Occupational Health nursing team, supporting complex case management, clinical decisionmaking, and mentorship.
Support with the design, delivery, and quality assurance of safe, effective occupational health services, aligned with best practice and legislation.
Manage a personal caseload and undertake advanced clinical assessments, including fitness-for-role evaluations and health surveillance.
Use data and clinical audit to support service improvement and promote excellent clinical governance.
Collaborate with HR, managers, unions, and key stakeholders to ensure highquality employee health outcomes and consistent policy application.

- equivalent knowledge and skill
Experience

- Significant experience working as an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor in a nurse-led OH service.
- Experience managing a clinical caseload with complex, sensitive, or
- high-risk cases.
- Experience delivering OH assessments including pre-employment, fitness for work, health surveillance and sickness absence
- management
- Experience providing supervision, clinical guidance, mentorship, or
- support to other practitioners.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary stakeholders (HR, managers, external providers).
- Experience using OH clinical systems, ideally Cority.
- Experience leading elements of service development,
