Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Community Safety team as a Crime and Community Safety Intelligence Analyst. In this key role, you will support the work of the Safer Slough Partnership (SSP) by leading on the collection, analysis, and reporting of crime and anti-social behaviour data. You will play a vital role in shaping evidence-led responses to community safety priorities, including domestic abuse, knife crime, VAWG, and FGM, as well as evaluating the impact of partnership interventions.
This is an excellent opportunity to influence strategy and performance through robust intelligence, while working closely with a wide range of internal and external partners.
Main duties of the job
1. Develop excellent working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure that public health programmes achieve the greatest possible population benefit. Produce analytical reports for a range of key stakeholders including senior managers and services to ensure performance is monitored and managers have the evidence to make informed decisions on improvement planning and resource allocation. 2. Provide information and support with regard to public health project and programme performance, Intelligence and Insight in the strategic development and delivery of public health intelligence programmes and projects such as the JSNA. 3. Analyse data from quantitative and qualitative measures in relation to all aspects of work. 4.Produce performance analysis to accompany performance reports e.g., dashboards, presentations etc. 5.Undertake forecasting, demand management and needs analysis. Undertake ad-hoc project work with the service and commissioners to support strategic business planning and business improvement activity. 6. Contribute to the production of key documents in areas of responsibility e.g. Health & Wellbeing Board papers, needs assessments, health impact assessments, health equity audits and programme reviews.
