Job summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Business Support Officer to oversee the daily operations of our business unit. In this pivotal role, you will provide high-level support to ensure the smooth running of OSCP activities. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will liaise with partner agencies and represent the partnership in communications with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across public, private, voluntary, and independent sectors. Youll also support statutory functions by working closely with elected members, chief officers, directors, and heads of service, in line with the Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 framework.

You are a proactive and well-organised professional with a genuine passion for safeguarding children. You thrive in collaborative settings and are confident engaging with diverse stakeholders. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build effective relationships and represent OSCP with professionalism and integrity.

The Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (OSCP) is committed to improving outcomes for children and families across the county. Our partnership brings together three statutory safeguarding agencies: - Oxfordshire County Council (Children, Families and Education) - Health (Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board) - Thames Valley Police Working in line with the Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 framework, we lead and coordinate local multi-agency safeguarding arrangements, collaborating with a wide range of organisations to protect and promote the welfare of children and young people.
