Your role and responsibilities
As a Public Health and Communities Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our award-winning Analytics team within the wider Knowledge, Intelligence, and Evidence team, based in the Public Health and Communities Directorate. You will be responsible for providing high-quality data and analysis to drive evidence-based decision-making. On a typical day, you might:
- Utilise your skills to produce routine and replicable reports using tools such as R.
- Design and develop visual dashboards in Power BI to provide business intelligence.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to support a wide variety of projects and analytical needs across Public Health and Communities.
- Present complex information to a variety of audiences in an understandable way.
- Support the wider Suffolk system including, health and care partners across the county.
- Your contributions will help improve outcomes across the Suffolk population in terms of health and well-being.
You will need
- Experience in an analytical/intelligence role working with large volumes of data and the ability to produce both written and statistical reports
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, MS Power BI, SQL, R, or Python.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- A passion for improving public health outcomes.

We also support the wider Suffolk system including, health and care partners across the county.
