Job summary

Join our Specialist Public Health Service, covering Cheam and South Sutton, Carshalton, Wallington, and Central Sutton. Our Health Visiting and School Nursing teams are dedicated to improving outcomes for children and families, with a focus on school readiness, mental health and well-being, and enhancing SEND provision.

We proudly deliver the Healthy Child Programme for children aged 0 to 19, providing a comprehensive range of support to families in our community.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Health Visitor who shares our commitment to improving health outcomes for children and families in Sutton. You'll work closely with the Head of Service to deliver the strategic vision for children's services, fostering collaboration between Health and Local Authority partners to achieve the best results.

You will bring a strong commitment to empowering families, enabling them to take responsibility for their health through education, support, and community-based care. Your practice will be guided by the four principles of health visiting.

  • Facilitating health-enhancing activities
