Were looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who shares our values of compassion, respect, and collaboration.

In this role, you will carry out strengths-based assessments, often in challenging or sensitive situations, helping people live as independently and safely as possible. The role requires safeguarding adults by identifying risk, acting according to policy, and occasionally undertaking the Investigating Officer function. The therapist works collaboratively with health and social care professionals, carers, voluntary and community services, and partner agencies to coordinate support and promote independence. Accurate recordkeeping, adherence to legislation and council procedures, and contributing to service development are essential.

The post also includes providing professional supervision to colleagues, supporting team learning, engaging in continuous professional development, and representing the Council professionally in all interactions.
