Melksham House School is a brand new school (opened September 2025), looking for compassionate and dynamic teachers to join our dedicated team.
Main duties of the job
As a Teacher at Melksham House School, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the academic, social, and emotional development of children with SEND. Working closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver personalised, engaging lessons that cater to the unique needs of each learner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate creative and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs outlined in students EHCPs.
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENDCo to implement individualised support plans.
- Track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure all children reach their full potential.
- Work in partnership with families to ensure a cohesive approach to education and well-being.
- Promote positive behaviour management and encourage social and emotional growth in a nurturing environment.
