Our Learning Disabilities & Autism Service (Moving on Service) play a vital role in shaping the future of young people with learning disabilities and autistic people as they transition into adulthood. You'll work across both childrens and adult services, ensuring a smooth, positive start for individuals on their adult journey.

Main duties of the job

As an Aspiring Manager, you will provide professional leadership, advice, support, and supervision to social care staff within the team. You will coordinate and oversee a countywide community-based team, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective community services. Managing and being accountable for both individual and team performance. You will ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements, a key aspect of the role will include managing risks associated with both the customer group and staff working with them, ensuring that services are delivered safely and appropriately.
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with substantial post-qualification experience in the field. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals who have complex needs within a social care setting or the NHS. Expert knowledge of social care legislation is essential, along with significant experience in conducting complex risk assessments to ensure safety within both the workplace and customer environments.
