We have an exciting opportunity in the Chippenham area for a full-time Employment Coordinator/Job Coach to join our Wiltshire Employment Support Team (WEST).
WEST empower individuals to find meaningful employment and economic participation while reducing dependence on support services. We're dedicated to promoting diversity in the workforce by collaborating closely with local employers.
Working in a highly motivated team, you'll guide individuals with SEND to secure and maintain paid employment, while also providing vital support to their families and networks. Your responsibilities will include; undertaking travel training to enable customers to independently travel to their place of work and providing appropriate job coaching support to customers who have achieved paid employment. You will work for people with disabilities, while working with employers in Wiltshire to negotiate paid employment opportunities.
We're seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual with the essential qualifications and skills, who is comfortable with working beyond the typical 9-5 day, including weekends. If you have good communication and organisational skills, experience of supporting people, have a knowledge of learning disability or autism, and the confidence to liaise with businesses throughout Wiltshire, and are passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals into work.
