Salary:£31,537 - £33,699 pro rata (once you have completed the return to practice programme, and are re-registered on the SWE register, you will move to £37,280 pro rata)

Return to practice
To return to the SWE register, you will be required to undertake a combination of private study, formal study, and supervised practice. The length of your updating period will vary on how long you have been out of practice. We can offer you supervised practice to support you with completing the returning to practice programme.
The Return to Practice Programme is for those who havea social work degree buthavenot been registered with Social Work England or were previously registered but have beenout of practice for some time and are now looking to reignite their passion for social work as a career. We recognise that additional support at the right time and level will enable you to gain confidence, build knowledge, IT skills, and allow you to gain the right experience to support your re-registration. Thats why we offer a supportive return to practice programme which includes:
We have a variety of teams and services that can support the return to practice programme:
- Adult Community Teams
- Locality Discharge Teams
- Mental Health Teams
- Learning Disabilities and Autism Teams
- 18-25 Moving On Team
- Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
