PO2: £37,336 -£40,221 pa
Temporary (Until October 2027)
1 x 37 hours per week
Based at Britannia House (Hybrid office arrangements available, allowing working from home and office).

Bradford Council has secured £4.7 million funding from the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) to establish a Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC). We are building a new team of enthusiastic professionals who will work together to transform the Council into evidence led organisation that works as an equal partner in generating evidence that is used to deliver high quality interventions and life changing services to our citizens.
As a part of this new transformative and friendly team, we are seeking a HDRC Research and Portfolio Lead who will ensure that the research we are involved in is of high quality and follows necessary research governance processes, at the same time helping to shape these processes within a local authority setting.

Main duties of the job
Lets talk about your skills and experience.
An understanding of the processes and practices of research governance.
Expertise in advising other researchers on good research governance.
Ability to work across departments and organisations to influence and advance relevant goals.
An understanding of the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research.
Capable of working effectively with colleagues (and other stakeholders) across CBMDC and in partner organisations on related strategic support and operational activities, such as planning, performance management, research, consultation, finance, HR, and legal.
Developing and implementing a rigorous and analytical approach to information collection, governance, and presentation.
